One Size Fits All?
Of course not. You want things to fit!
Information, like clothes, should be made to measure. It’s time we stop taking the ‘one size fits all’ approach in the way that we involve our audience.
You don’t do it to your kids.
Don’t do it to your audience!
A 21st century Audiovisual and Interactive solution for museums and visitor centers, Mad Systems' unique patent pending Facial Recognition Controlled Media Delivery system provides for the ultimate solution to deliver the right media to each of your visitors.
Our revolutionary patent pending solution provides media content that is tailored to your visitors, without wristbands, RFID or other interfaces.
If a child is seen, kid-friendly content is displayed for their age group. If a visitor has indicated that they have a time limit, it will not only deliver media in the visitor's language and speak to their level of knowledge and interest, but it will provide reduced length content. It can then also give directions to that guest to ensure that they skip exhibits as necessary to make sure that they see the most relevant content given the time they have indicated they have available. When they get to a junction, and they need to turn left - it will tell them when it sees them. If your audience needs subtitles in Chinese - why not provide just that?
Facial Recognition based media delivery can also help you with ADA requirements. Without prompting, interactive exhibits recognize kids, or visitors in wheel chairs, and lower the buttons on the touch screen to make access easier. Seamlessly, high contrast media is delivered to allow for the special needs of a visually impaired guest, and voice prompts are used to help that special visitor experience the story.
If the visitor logs into the system, either from home or at your venue, and gives the system some basic information, the system knows how to tell your story in a way that matters to them. It will recognize the visitor using facial recognition, and remembers their language preference, interests and subject knowledge. Even if they do not log into the system - the first interactive they come to can ask them for their preferred language, and then the next exhibits and interactives will use that language, consistently.
Running a presentation, and finding that that English speaking visitor is joined by a Spanish speaking visitor? Just turn on Spanish subtitles. The English speaker leaves? Just change over to the Spanish language track - the show continues, seamlessly.
Is there a docent in the house? Well, let’s not run the presentation until they’re ready to do so. After all - you’re in control!
