Here’s a quick and simple example of what Alice^® does - the images are generated, as is the text.

First of all we feed a ‘body of knowledge’ - in this case we used is a rather minimal biography about Leonardo Da Vinci. This establishes the essential data (body of knowledge) that Alice™ should use for its primary knowledge. Again, note that this is a VERY simple example intended for an explanation of the concept only.

Initially, let’s assume that there is nobody at the display in the museum, and it just changes from one of his inventions to another, with ever-changing imagery and text, cycling until a person shows an interest in this exhibit.

Now a kid walks into the museum, and registers at the front using a kiosk. He has indicated that (1) he is 15, (2) he has a preference for science rather than history), (4) he’s not too much of a reader but would like to know the basics, and (4) he speaks Dutch.

When he gets to the exhibit about Da Vinci, there is an image of DaVinci working on the prototype of a tank in his workshop on the screen, and the following image appears:

Because that kid indicated he was into science, the background image is of Da Vinci working on a prototype of his tank.

A Greek 22-year old Greek college student walks in, and registers in the system. She indicates that she wonders who Leonardo Da Vinci is, and would like to know more about the man and his history. This is what SHE will get on the screen:

Let's imagine a major Art museum in New York that has Alice^® technology installed. Now let's take a visitor named Maria who's visiting the museum, and she has been there before.

Upon entering the museum, Maria is greeted by a digital screen with several avatars, each promising a slightly different approach to the way a visitor will experience the museum. Maria greets one of the avatars. This is Alice^®, a virtual docent who'll accompany Maria throughout her visit. Alice^® also informs Maria about a special exhibit on Claude Monet that wasn't available during her last visit.

As Maria begins her journey through the museum, Alice^® provides her with a handheld device that communicates with the system. This device serves as her personal guide, providing information about the artworks in text format complemented by vibrant images, accommodating Maria's hearing impairment.

When Maria approaches an artwork, Alice^® dynamically generates and presents rich, contextually relevant information about the piece.
