Our Story
At Mad Systems, innovation has been at the heart of everything we do since our founding in 1998. What began as a small creative technology studio has grown into a respected audiovisual design and integration company serving museums, visitor centers, theme parks, attractions, corporate environments, and public destinations around the world.
Our early focus was simple: build reliable, imaginative AV systems that help people connect with stories and spaces. Over the years our work expanded into new areas – interactive exhibits, immersive environments, advanced control systems, accessibility tools, and eventually personalized and recognition-based technologies. Each step reflected our belief that technology should support creativity, not overshadow it.
From our privacy-centric recognition systems to our patented personalization tools, we have continued to explore how AV can evolve to meet the needs of modern audiences. This approach eventually led to the development of QuickSilver®, our non-proprietary AV platform, and later to the growing AV++® ecosystem that powers multilingual media, adaptive experiences, accessibility features, navigation support, and intelligent device coordination.
Behind these systems is a team of engineers, programmers, designers, storytellers, fabricators, and specialists who bring a wide range of skills and perspectives to the work. Mad Systems has always valued collaboration – with designers, architects, exhibit houses, planners, and destination operators – to create audiovisual systems that feel natural, meaningful, and effortless for guests.

Today, Mad Systems is still rooted in the same principles that guided us from the beginning: creativity, thoughtful engineering, reliability, and a commitment to experiences that matter. Wonderland, our in-house demonstration space, gives clients a chance to experience some of our technologies firsthand, from traditional AV to advanced personalization tools.
Based in Orange, California – and serving clients worldwide – we design, build, test, and refine every system with care. Our in-house electronics development, fabrication capabilities, and integration lab allow us to prototype and validate solutions before they reach your venue, ensuring quality and consistency across every project.
