WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY
Access belongs
in the experience.
We want people to understand our work, explore the detail that matters to them and contact Mad in a way that works for them.
Our ongoing website work targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA. This is our target for improvement, not a claim that every page has passed a formal accessibility audit.
USING THE WEBSITE
Read and navigate at your own pace.
The site includes a skip-to-content link, keyboard focus indicators, labeled form fields and headings that organize the content. Engineering sections use expandable controls so you can choose how much detail to read.
The Technical setting opens engineering detail across the site. Auto lets the setting follow the sections you deliberately open and close. You can also open any individual section without changing the rest of the page.
Page motion responds to your device or browser’s reduced-motion preference. Text and essential links remain available without the scroll effects. Direct email and phone links provide alternatives to the online enquiry form.
CONTINUING IMPROVEMENT
Useful content, in a usable form.
We work on readable text, meaningful image descriptions, clear link names, keyboard operation, contrast and layouts that remain usable at different screen sizes and zoom levels. Complex diagrams and technical documents need particular attention to provide an equivalent explanation.
Accessibility can vary in historic documents and on the external publisher sites linked from our news and press pages. If a page, diagram, document or interaction is difficult to use, tell us what you were trying to find. We can discuss an alternative way to provide the information.
FEEDBACK AND ASSISTANCE
Tell us what got in the way.
Email info@madsystems.com or call +1 714 259 9000. Include the page address and what you were trying to do. If useful, tell us your browser and assistive technology, and how you would prefer us to respond.
We will use the report to investigate the issue and help you reach the information or conversation you need.
