LifeSaver™ uses configured occupancy inputs and schedules to manage supported equipment power states within a QuickSilver® installation. Its purpose is to reduce operation when it is not needed while keeping the experience ready at the appropriate time.
A motion sensor, camera-derived occupancy result, exhibit interaction or schedule can inform a configured response. Audio, lighting, displays and computing may have different staged states. The equipment’s supported controls, standby behavior and recovery time determine which steps are suitable.
Wake sequences are planned and tested for the route and the equipment. Visitor-facing readiness is a requirement to verify; an occupancy trigger alone does not prove that every device has recovered.

The project defines occupancy zones, input quality, time thresholds, power stages, excluded equipment, wake triggers and the response to uncertain occupancy or a failed input. Required operations and protected safety functions retain their priority.
Power and state events can be shown through the Deck™. Where TruCheck™ monitoring is included, its configured measurements can contribute evidence that equipment has returned to the required state. Unchecked or inconclusive paths must remain distinguishable from a passed check.
Energy and maintenance benefits depend on the equipment, its operating pattern and the chosen settings. Compare operating hours and measured energy before and after the change; retain the device manufacturer’s cycling and thermal requirements. A universal lifespan multiplier is not assumed.
