Operator, Docent, and Maintenance Control Interface

The Deck™ is the primary control interface for Mad Systems AV++® installations. It provides role-based access to every operational function of the installation, with separate passcode-protected pages for docents, floor operators, technical supervisors, and maintenance staff, each presenting exactly the controls relevant to that role and no others.

Unlike generic AV control systems that present the same interface to every user regardless of role or technical competence, the Deck™ structures access around who needs what. A docent can trigger a presentation, adjust content depth, and manage visitor interaction flows. A floor supervisor can monitor system status, override sequences, and handle routine operational events. A technician can access diagnostics, adjust system parameters, and view the full performance picture. None of these users sees the controls intended for the other roles, reducing operational error and simplifying training.

Delay Preview

The Deck™ includes a delay preview capability, allowing operators to preview the next content state before it executes in the venue. This is particularly useful for programs with dynamic content sequencing, where an operator needs confidence about what will happen next before committing a show state change in front of visitors.

Real-Time System Overview

The Deck™ provides a real-time overview of system status across the full installation, aggregating device health, content state, visitor interaction activity, and any flagged conditions into a single dashboard accessible to the appropriate role. It integrates with TruCheck™ monitoring data and TruView™ visual verification, making it the operational nerve center for a running AV++® venue.
