Spatial overlays for physical venues, currently under development
WonderLens™, currently under development, explores spatial overlays that connect digital interpretation with physical artifacts, exhibits and environments. It is patent-pending work toward spatial augmented reality within the AV++® architecture.
The idea is to make digital content relate meaningfully to the place a visitor is looking at. Historical context could appear beside an artifact. An industrial display could reveal an internal mechanism. A character or guide could connect a physical exhibit with its story. WonderLens™ is being developed to build on the QuickSilver® computing foundation and to connect with WorldModel™ governance as the relevant spatial hardware and integration mature.
